True story of John Phillip Holland.  A Irish Catholic who came to America and invented the submarine.  He is now known at Father of the Modern Submarine. 

 

This book was meant to be a child's book but is enjoyable for anyone interested in boats and drama of the sea.

Witness for the Truth by George A. Kendall

 

 

This book was not written by Frank Morriss but he did write the Foreward.  Frank is also mentioned through out this publication.

 

 

The Wanderer is what Frank Morriss will best remembered writing for.

Saints Speak to a Modern World

 

A series of fifty 24 minute talks by Frank Morriss.  They are a beautiful description of what we can learn today from the Saints.

 

Originally sold on tape in seven inch rolls.  In the 1980's Frank Morriss sold the rights of these lectures.  They were later released on mp3 discs in 2004 by the new owner. The Catholic Corner.

Note:  Frank Morriss last name was misspelled by the publisher.  Edward Weiler apologizes in a letter dated 8/29/1959  He says the critics might notice but his readers would not.

Story of Thomas Fitzpatrick "king of the mountainmen." A rugged frontiersman, he was a guide, a trapper and an Indian agent in the years when the name of Apache and Pawnee struck fear in the hearts of the white man.  The Indians named him "Broken Hand," knew him as  the greatest and just of the agents.  His friendship with the tribes enabled him to organize the Great Council at Fort Laramie, in which a treaty was signed allowing the white man free passage through Indian country.
